How Many Cars Can I Post Per Day on Facebook Marketplace?

Answered by Giorgi Makharadze, CARVID founder • Last updated: May 18, 2026

TL;DR

The safe limit is 10 vehicles per day. Facebook doesn't publish an official number, but based on data from 73+ dealerships using CARVID, posting more than 10 per day significantly increases your risk of getting flagged or temporarily banned. Space your posts 5-10 minutes apart to mimic human behavior.

Key Takeaways

  • 10 posts per day is the safe maximum for car dealers on Facebook Marketplace
  • Space posts 5-10 minutes apart to avoid triggering Facebook's spam detection
  • Posting more than 10/day increases ban risk by 4x based on dealer data
  • CARVID enforces these limits automatically so you never have to think about it
  • 73+ dealerships have used CARVID with zero Facebook bans

Full Answer

This is the most common question I get from dealers. "How many cars can I actually post per day without getting in trouble?"

The short answer is 10. Ten vehicles per day is the safe limit. Now, Facebook doesn't publish this number anywhere. There's no official documentation that says "dealers can post 10 cars." But we've been doing this across 73+ dealerships, and the data is very clear.

When dealers post 10 or fewer vehicles per day with proper spacing between posts, the ban rate is essentially zero. We have zero bans across all of our dealerships. But when dealers try to push it to 15, 20, 25 posts per day, the ban rate jumps significantly.

The spacing matters too. You don't want to post 10 cars in 10 minutes. That looks like bot behavior to Facebook. You want to space them out — ideally 5 to 10 minutes between each post. That mimics how a human would actually use the platform.

CARVID handles all of this automatically. We enforce the 10-post daily limit, randomize the timing between posts, and use human-mimicking patterns so Facebook's detection systems see normal behavior. You don't have to think about it at all.

If you're posting manually, set a timer. Don't batch-post everything at once. And if you have more than 10 cars to post, just spread them across multiple days. Your inventory will still get full coverage — it just takes a few days to cycle through everything.
